BMC approved plan and Commence Certificate are two stage of construction where you cannot get commence certificate (CC) without approved plan and legally you should not construct without obtaining CC.
Earlier approval of a plan was taking between 20 days and one month. Now the process would take about a week and subsequently it could be reduced to four to five days under
automated building plan approval system. In order to submit a plan for online approval, you will require Login ID & password. You can get this by submitting a request to the department. The registered Engineer / Architect /Supervisor will guide you in filing all the required documents and affidavits
