Yes the news is unfortunately true and I do not think BBMP is going to take any action regarding this issue. In our apartment we are facing acute water shortages due to ground water depleted in the borewell and irregular supply of kaveri water.Due to this we are dependent on private water tankers since april 2012 and we have decided to collect the water charges from each flat owners/tenants.
Few of the flat owners are not co-operating and they are not contributing the water expenses incurred. Even after repeated request, they dont come forward to pay. Due to this, the other flat owners have decided to cut the water connection or to complain in police station.Can this be done?
since the association is not formed, we cant register the complaint in karnataka association act.
Please help what better could be done to solve our problems.

You can go to police station but this is a matter that should be solved through mutual understanding. It is very important that you form the Apartment Association and get it registered as soon as possible.

Hi, I am looking to rent out an apartment of size 1075 square feet (3 BHK) at Provident WelWorth City, Doddaballapur Road. Apt. faces south-east (and kitchen too). There is plenty of light and air, with a wonderful view of vast open space, and greenery. Rent is Rs.14000/ per month,but negotiable. Maintenance charges 1500/- per year. There is club house, security is 24 hours, water no problem at all. If any one is interested pls let me know.

Hi,I got a quick question, A quick search reveals different answers from different forumMy question is i bought an under construction apartment in April 2010, I paid about Rs 5 Lakhs before 1 July 2010, Now apartment is ready for possession(Completion certificate of an Apartment should be 2012) , My question is whether i need to pay service Tax on entire amount or have to pay after deducting 5 Lakh?Currently i have to pay Rs 80000 as a service Tax however if i deduct Rs 5lakh from total Cost of Apartment(Nearly 40 lakh) i would save approx Rs 10000Please confirm if i have to pay Service Tax(Approx 4.2 %) on Total value of an apartment or after deducting Money which was paid before 1 July 2010?RegardsShobhit
