Is it true that the stamp duty in Indore is going to be reduced? I just heard rumours about this. And will that reduction be beneficial for the market here?
Latest Answer: I feel that its the need of the hour to bring down stamp duty in the states like Madhya Pradesh to 5% from the existing rate of 6.25%. All the thriving states like New Delhi, Punjab and Haryana have stamp duty of 5%, which is a reason why the real estate market there is so successful.

Can anyone give me a description on the interiors of the Ruchi Lifescapes gated community apartment in Bengali Colony?
Latest Answer: I don't reallly like the interiors at these gated communities too much. They seem so modern and uptight. I read on this link http://www.commonfloor.com/ruchi-lifescapes-indore/povp-a7rlwj the specifications for the project. Apparently this place is different though and it makes you feel warm and welcome! They usually say that about every gated community but this one has so much greenery and water bodies all around, you feel extremely peaceful. The project will only be finished by December 2015 but there may be a few finished apartments you can see.
Q:
How is the rail and road connectivity situation in Indore with other parts of MP and the country? I want to know how the export industry is doing here.
Latest Answer: Since MP is completely land-locked, this kind of trouble is anticipated actually. Currently the only way to export goods from within areas in and around Indore are by trucks. Yes, these industries are all using trucks to deliver their goods till Ratlam. From here it is carried forward by goods trains. The problem is that these goods trains run only on alternate days, so the time frame for each stage of delivery needs to be calculated properly. The goods trains finally takes all the consignment to the Mumbai port. It takes a total of 15 to 22 days, which is totally not helpful for industrial growth.
Q:
I'm thinking about moving to Sarthak Singapore Green View row houses in Sukliya. I've heard that this locality has faced problems with electricty and water supply in the past. Is it still a problem? Will I face difficulties if I shift to Talawandi Chanda?
Latest Answer: I don't think the problem has been completely rectified. I read that the farmers at Talawani Chanda are rebelling against the electrity lines being laid down all across their agricultural fields. The Narmada phase 3 project requires drawing water from Mandlashar dam by laying an electrity line of 132 kv. But the farmers aren't budging and the state may need to take legal action against those who resist which is very sad. But only 90 MLD of water is being drawn from here when in reality approx 300 MLD needs to be drawn. So there is still a bit of an issue but I don't think it would directly affect you.
Q:
I read that the new budget for the year 2014 is going to be allocated for infrastructure growth in all states. Will this increase real estate value for Indore?
Latest Answer: Thanks for shareing this information .it is very helpful for me

Is there an alternative route being planned to the Indore airport?
Latest Answer: Yeah, this road is going to be good even for people living in Vijaya Nagar. Now we don't have to travel on the 2 lane road, but we can use the 4 lane road, which will reduce our travel time. Currently if we are travelling from Vijaya Nagar, we have to travel through small roads in areas like Bada Ganpati. This road will also make it easy for people living in East Indore to travel to the airport.

Does The Empress project in Napania have any bank approvals? I want to buy an apartment there for my parents and came across this project when I was looking for apartments. Please can anyone give me some details about the project? I want to shift my parents from Chennai to Indore asap.
Latest Answer: Hey investing in the Empress project for your parents is a good idea, I think. The prices of these apartments are quite reasonable too. A 1300 square feet big 2bhk apartment will cost you around Rs 36 lacs, a 3bhk (1900 square feet) will cost you Rs 52 lacs, and a 4bhk apartment (2275 square feet) will cost you Rs 63 lacs. I think getting the 2bhk will be perfect for your parents, as too big a house means too much maintenance.
Q:
Hey, expat here. Moving back to my beloved India after a long span of 10 years. Looking to buy a property in Indore for me, my wife and my two kids. Any recommendations regarding which residential project and locality? I saw the Shikhar Balaji Skyz project, is it any good? Also, how is the locality?
Latest Answer: Hey you can even get 4bhk apartments here. Its a steal, because you get all 2278 square feet for just Rs 61 lacs. That is value for money; the location of the project and the project specifications itself will more than make up for the investment amount. All luxury amenities are provided within the project premises itself. There are swimming pools, gym, badminton court, library, indoor gaming facilities, other recreational facilities, 24 hour power back up and excellent maintenance and security staff.
Q:
I have a cousin who is planning to buy a house in Indore for his wife’s parents who live there. He wants to understand the infrastructure development taking place in Indore, so that he can make a wise investment. Any thoughts?
Latest Answer: Indore is the only city in India to have both an Indian Institute of Technology as well as an Indian Institute of Management, two of the most premier institutions in the country. Property rates in Indore are picking up after the super corridor has been announced. The Bus Rapid Transit System, in recent times, has succeeded in connecting most parts of Indore. It is still developing to facilitate the ever-growing network of roads in this city. Infrastructure projects that include educational institutes and hospitals are also another aspect you can look at. You should check out established residential areas for a more balanced evaluation of property rates.
Q:
Which is the best area to buy property in Indore at the moment?
Latest Answer: I feel that AB Road is getting crowded, so I would probably suggest you to buy property in areas like Palasia, Vijaynagar or Navlakha. I think out of this three, you should think of buying in Vijay Nagar because the area has everything you want. It has many malls, shopping complexes, and many good restaurants. The BRTS also goes by this area, so you will not have any problem moving from your house to other parts of Indore. Nariman Enclave is one good project here, and also Man Royal View.
Q:
How is the sewage condition in Indore city
Latest Answer: No, the sewage condition has not changed much. Although the government has added two sewage treatment plants, there is still a lot of sewage present in the small streams around Indore. Most of the drains in Indore are open drains, and most of the sewage is released into nullahs.
But, there are a few changes that the local government is bringing into place to clear the sewage problem. The Indore Municipal Corporation sent out a new order which made all new commercial and residential properties to get a sewage NOC before constructing a property. The municipal corporation have also come up with another innovative idea of using a sewage treatment plant to generate electricity in Kabitkhedi sewage treatment plant. Hopefully, the corporation understands the problems faced by the public and solves them quickly

Q:
I want to buy a house for my family in an integrated township in Indore. I recently came across the Treasure Fantasy Rangwasa. Will it be a good investment choice? Also, is the project well connected to the rest of the city? My wife and I have to commute a lot for our jobs, so we need a place where transportation will be smooth
Latest Answer: This project has villas and row houses as well as apartments. I would suggest you go for the villas or the row houses, if your family is large. The project has been launched very recently, so the floor plans and the price schedule hasn’t been released yet.
The project is otherwise interesting. You can buy a plot as well, as build your own house there. The usual luxury amenities like swimming pool, gymnasium, club house facilities, and 24 hour power back up are there, with excellent, state of the art security systems.
