The problem in N R Mohalla is the pollution of the Devanur Lake. The feeder canals to this lake have been all clogged up with garbage, so there is no water inflow anymore. Now for the pending works to be finished it needs the land from the APMC. MUDA had promised an 8 acres of land next to the APMC market yard in exchange for the land that was required for the ORR. i came to know that the government is decided to end the agreement with multiple private agencies for providing water to these residential layouts as well as to other places in the mysore city. I know that the primary goal of this project was to build a 6 lane express highway between bangalore and mysore. The expressway will bring about huge development in the area. Actually this place is mostly popular for the number of Temples here. There is the Shri Samavasarana Jain Mandir here, then the Shri Kudure Jain Manasthamba. If you are taking a commercial point of view of this project and the locality..there are not much to say about it. This area has no good shopping areas nearby. The place is pretty much barren land.
