Q: Hi All,

My self Soumya, I am moving to Ahmedabad from November. I am a bengali and a hardcore non vegetarian. I have managed to found some quality places like Gota, Motera, Chandkheda and SG Highway. But I am in fear that will I be managed to get a decent flat which will have no restriction for a non-veg'e or not. So I am requesting you all to help me with the name of some locality where I can manage to find a flat.

Q: Where is the Chandheda in Ahmedabad strategically located? What is the capital appreciation in that locality?
Latest Answer: Chandkheda has both BRTS facility and a good network of roads. It is well connected to other parts of the city. Both airport and railway station are located close to the area. At 2 km distance is the nearest railway station, which can be reached via Tragad Road followed by the International airport at 14.2 km via Sardar Patel Ring Road.

Q: Mumbai-based realty developer Hiranandani Constructions has obtained a 30 acres land parcel near Sanathal junction on SG highway close to Ahmedabad and is looking to develop a mixed-use project with an investment of nearly Rs 1000 crore.

Q: The Real Estate (Regulation & Development) Bill, 2013, drafted by the last union government has submitted for few changes and is now in final stages of being presented for approval by the present government.
Latest Answer: But decision is yet to come.....and hoping for the best... Now, housing projects on more than 500 sq-mt would have to register with the proposed real estate regulator as opposed to the threshold at 1000 sq-mt that was fixed earlier. Also, the interest rate payable by the promoter or allottee in case of any default by either would be the same now.
