15 condominiums top IMRB survey for residential facilities in Gurgaon
Winners don’t always take it all mainly when we have to choose best out of the best. The 10 housing societies that competed and made it to top 15 in the Clash of Condominiums but could not come in to top 5 gave tough competition to the winners and surpassed the winners in some cases but lost the competition in overall result.
An in depth analysis of the survey which is conducted by the Indian Market Research Bureau (IMRB) in association with The Times of India concluded that the condominiums that made the top 15 have almost everything an ideal home should — from efficient administration to a well-equipped gymnasium and good neighbors.
The top five are Aralias, Hamilton Court, The World Spa, Gurgaon One and Raheja Atlantis. After these top five at number six is The Laburnum Complex, followed by Vatika City, Wellington Estate, DLF Park Place, Jal Vayu Towers, The Close North, Belvedere Towers, Ridgewood Estate, Orchid Petals and Sispal Vihar AWHO Society.
The condominiums were examined on the basis of maintenance charges, RWA performance, power back-up, construction quality, satisfaction with maintenance, safety of children, satisfaction with facilities, frequency of government events organized within the complex, festival events, the quality of gymnasiums, swimming pools and common and play areas.
Each feature is rated on a different scale before the final decision is taken. The features which are examined include tangible components like infrastructure and intangible ones like safety and neighborly interactions. The top five performed well in almost all the features.
The Laburnum Complex came at the second position after the winner Aralias. The Vatika City which did not come in top five achieved good score for its swimming pool, common area and club. The Close North also grabs highest score for its common area, club and kids’ play areas while Jal Vayu Towers and Sispal Vihar AWHO Society also got the perfect score for their common area and kids’ play areas.
The Aralias, Belvedere Towers came first in the score sheet of gym and swimming pool. The society that achieved full marks for its common area and power back-up was DLF Park Place. The facility of providing safety to visitors is also analyzed in this survey and Sispal Vihar performed well in this category as compared to other.
Some apartments with average marks in most of the categories left behind others in one or two segments. The Orchid Petals performed exceptionally well on power back-up, finishing among top societies like Aralias and DLF Park Place.
