2 labourers killed in building collapse
Two labourers were killed and several others were injured when an under-construction building collapsed in west Delhi in Kirti Nagar area.
The building owner has been arrested and two engineers have been suspended North Delhi Municipal Corporation for allowing the illegal construction following the incident.
According to police, the owner had been adding to the front portion of the already existing building when the third floor lantern suddenly fell, causing the it to collapse while the labourers were inside it.
The injured were rushed to hospital where two of them reported dead.
