28% vacancies in Pune malls, rentals down

Real estate advisory Cushman and Wakefield (C&W) said Pune has witnessed 28% of vacancies in malls in the third quarter of this year due to oversupply.
However, due to the increased supply, the rental values witnessed a drop. The extravagant retail developments in the last few years in Pune have put some pressure on the rental values.
The rental values are expected to remain stable and in some places, it may undergo price correction.
