44 ‘Karma Tirtha’ hubs to be opened by 1st August
The Chief Minister of West Bengal, Mamata Banerjee in her facebook page last day made an announcement that the state government would be launching ‘Karma Tirtha’ hubs all across the state that will be a one-stop shop for the entrepreneurs in to market their products. This will ensure that the entrepreneurs can sell their product directly to the consumers in the rural areas.
The CM announced that there will be a total of 229 such hubs as sanctioned. And 44 of those 229 hubs will be flagged by the Chief Minister herself on the 1st of August.
Mamata Banerjee in her post in the social networking site stated that creating job and self-employment opportunities have always been a priority area for the West Bengal government. Since the last 3 years many job opportunities have been created for the brothers and sisters of West Bengal in great numbers. People have been employed as engineers, doctors, teachers, officers, nurses, assistants and technicians in huge numbers. Hence the government is looking forward in extending their work forward by creating more job opportunities especially in the rural market where the job scenario is a bit low in comparison to the urban sector.
