Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) planned to set up five new sewage treatment plant at five gardens in the city.

68 gardens are there in various parts of the city. More than 20000 liters of water requires per day for watering the greenery.

The municipality finds it tough to get the amount of water daily. So they decided to set the sewage treatment plant in those gardens which are surrounded by mass residential apartments in Nagpur.

As huge quantity of sewage is generated from those apartments, it would be easy to collect and treat the sewage water to meet the requirement of water at the gardens.

Moreover it will save the groundwater and the municipality will be able to save the pollution of the locality.
