70% of booking deducted by builder for missing deadline

No Comments Sub Category:Realty News Posted On: Jun 23, 2014

According to recent news, one of the builders of Greater Noida cut off 70% of the cash that was given to him by an individual to book a flat. This deduction in money occurred because the buyer had failed to pay the second instalment.

The flat was booked was Amit Goel in Devika Goel Homez. This apartment is located in the western region of Greater Noida. The first instalment had already been paid. During the second round when Goel was expected to paid the required amount of money, he failed to pay it within due time. In January 2014, he was also sent a letter of cancellation. This is why the builder deducted 70% of the cash and sold it to someone else.  However, the spokesperson hasn’t given a reason as to why he has done such a deed.

Harish Verma who happens to be the CEO of Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority mentioned has mentioned that the money which has been taken away by the builders is definitely not an act of just. They are expecting Amit Goel to get his money refunded as soon as it can be done. Later they will take the matter into deeper consideration.
