8-lane Ferozepur Road attracts 3 bidders

Simplex Constructions, Navyug Constructions and Seagle India have shown interest in undertaking the eight-lane Ferozepur Road in Ludhiana. These bidders want certain conditions to be met by the civic body. The asked the MC to provide bank guarantee and help in getting no objection certificates (NOCs) from all departments. The civic body refused to meet any of the demands.
However, it agreed to waive penalties in case e companies were able to complete the work on time. The project has been allotted Rs 210 for the project.
Two earlier bidders have asked for a large fee to complete the project. The project was then opened for re-tendering.
