Mumbai water pipeline project postponed to 2012
The water pipeline project in Mumbai was about to be ready to use by the end of 2011.
As usual the project is postponed! Due to procedural delays and slow pace work the water project has been postponed to upcoming year 2012.
It has been three years since this water project started and the Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation (NMMC) has completed only 45 percent of the work!
Construction of water tanks, securing approval, designs of the project, replacing old water pipelines everything is kept pending.
However, the NMMC officials have promised to complete the project by March 2012. With the commence of this project the water shortage problems are expected to be relieved.
