BBMP’s Glutton enjoys after party hours!
Onset of New Year has left a mound of after party garbage in Brigade Road.
But not to worry as Bruhat Bangalore Mahanagara Palike‘s (BBMP) new garbage sucker, Glutton is here!
The new Belgian technology works on vacuum and can suck any amount of garbage including plastic covers, crackers, empty liquor bottles and any waste matter.
The machine cleaned the Brigade Road once every two hours after 12 am. Apart from Glutton, around 20 rag pickers and sweepers accompanied the cleaning work on the Brigade Road- MG Road stretch.
More machines will be imported if this one does its job to BBMP’s satisfaction.
