BBMP and BWSSB meeting discussed civic grievances
A Bangalore Water Supply and Sewerage Board (BWSSB) council meeting was held recently wherein the engineer-in-chief of BWSSB was astonished to hear a flow of complaints on par of water supply issues in Bangalore city.
The area corporators, Mayor and Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) Commissioner Shankarlinge Gowda all addressed never ending sewerage-related grievances.
Also the debate questioning BWSSB in providing NOC to multi-storey apartments in a large scale completely ignoring the water woes of independent house owners. Later on the meeting turned more into political interference talks!
Also other such issues like; Shelter for homeless, Garbage menace, increase in illegal Optical Fibre Cables (OFCs) usage were also discussed to which the engineer-in-chief of BWSSB gave respective solutions and reply.
