Garbage collection is a biggest headache for the apartment residents!

Nowadays, any apartment comprising of more than 100 blocks and the garbage piled up from these is just getting the replica look of huge mountain! Similar was the situation at high-end apartments in Thiruvananthapuram.

The residents fed up with pending garbage pile up finally decided to restructure Vilappilsala plant which was under crisis.

The Richmond Apartment Owners’ Association took initiative in informing the other apartment owners in suggesting source-level waste treatment project instead of present Corporation-dependent garbage disposal system.

However, at last the residents accepted and the project is now sooth running, every apartment is now provided with separate bins following up with regular garbage clearance.

This system today covers around 154 apartments at Thiruvananthapuram.
