Kerala government now eco-friendly conscious!
Thiruvananthapuram residents are in pace of achieving zero waste stage in all the residential habitats.
Also, in concern with same Kerala government is working towards maintaining the same!
In a recent Cabinet decision, talks about providing subsidy to residential flats for installing waste treatment units was suggested.
However, parallel to this idea residents will be encouraged to set up biogas and vermin compost systems at their houses.
The cabinet spoke about encouragement of installing rain water harvesting and simplifying the procedures for sanctioning building plans are also in pipeline and has been promised by the government to follow up same.
