MCD fail to solve civic issues
Recently the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) was split into three major divisions namely; North, South and East!
Wherein each local body has different civic issues to be attended.
Wherein, south Delhi is covered up entirely with civic issues like; bad drains, parking space and illegal constructions, unauthorized colonies, overflowing sewers and garbage accumulation.
Same is the scenario with north and east Delhi where they have mix issues like; bad roads, unauthorized colonies and migrant population.
Over the past one year MCD had collected Rs 1,100 crore and East Delhi Municipal corporation had recovered Rs 22 crore.
Even when the funds are more than sufficient, there is no clue as to why MCD is lagging behind in coping up and solving civic issues.
