Stop constructions at the mosque site: ASI to HC
The Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) has asked the Delhi High Court to stop any constructions at the site where remains of a mosque was discovered.
The ASI also told the court that the Delhi Police is responsible for the site protection.
The building’s remains were discovered early this month during the Delhi Metro work and started fresh constructions on the site.
The North Delhi Municipal Corporation and police have obstructed constructions and handed over the site to ASI.
