Power supply affected by maintenance work in East, Central Delhi
Due to the maintenance work carried out by power distribution company BSES Yamuna Power Ltd (BYPL) in areas of East and Central Delhi, the supply of electricity from (10 am- 5 pm) will be hampered for about 15 days starting from November 14.
The maintenance work is carried out to maintain their infrastructure.
This work will be followed by the company to modernise its distribution network which includes a a 66/11 KV grid sub-station in Daryaganj resulting in a shut down of the transmission line. However, November 30 is the deadline to complete the modernisation work.
There have been alternative arrangements made to supply power to few areas with the rest facing power cut for varying duration.
