Water Board’s consumer meet flooded with complaints
Hyderabad- The first ever consumer meet by the Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board (HMWS&SB) officials in Division-IV ( Red Hills) was flooded with innumerable complaints of about 80 addressing the grievances.
This consumer’s meet was held in order to curb people’s grievances related to water bills, water supply, sewerage, electricity and others. It was held by a team of officials working in the division, led by general manager M Krishna. It was stated that they had received around 87 complaints regarding issues such as billing, regularisation of illegal water connections and water contamination. The complaints were however, pushed towards the higher officials.
The maximum number of complaints were regarding the billing which will be forwarded to the Water Board MD. Other complaints were of water contamination and so on. The officials stated that the issues will be solved and such meets will be conducted in other areas as well.
