Versova facing a change as a residential development hub
Versova is a major residential hub that situated in the western suburbs of Mumbai. Located in Andheri, it is an upmarket residential destination that has experienced much development in terms of infrastructure and connectivity.
During the past, there were bungalows in this area, some of which have been now replaced by apartments. Maharashtra Housing and Area Development Authority (MHADA) has also undertaken the development of houses in Versova, most of which serve to the high-income groups of Mumbai. The domestic and international airports are just a 15-minute drive from Versova.
Also the locality is located on the famous Versova beach which is an added advantage for the residents. Located closely to Bandra also works in Versova’s favour as the commercial Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC) is the new central business district filled with office spaces and shops.
Versova is well-equipped for residents who are living here, being close to the beach and popular malls in Lokhandwala like Mega Mall and Infinity Mall. Juhu beach is also close to the locality. Versova is also known for the different variety of food on offer because there are many restaurants and eating joints here. The malls also offer many theatre and multiplex options.
