Kalyan-Dombivli witnessing surge in development of new projects

Kalyan-Dombivli, in the outskirts of Mumbai, comes under Kalyan-Dombivli Municipal Corporation (KDMC) and forms a part of Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR). The area’s realty market is witnessing boom mainly because of the increasing property values in other suburbs. Another reason quoted for the growth is the increasing demand for affordable housing in Mumbai.
According to a report by CommonFloor.com, the twin city of Kalyan-Dombivli will be one of the biggest beneficiaries. According to Sumit Jain Co-founder and CEO CommonFloor.com, Kalyan-Dombivli property prices have been stagnant over the past few quarters. However, affordable property prices coupled with good connectivity to other key areas clearly indicates the area’s potential for growth in the near future.
