Potholes messing up Traffic in Thane
The routes in Thane city have turned from bad to worse wherein the commuters have been fed up with the never ending issues over the traffic chaos created because of the existing potholes. The concerned authorities have become so helpless that instead of clearing the potholes they have decided to change the routes for the commuters in the city. The roads leading to the SATIS flyover up to the thane station have turned worse in case of heavy traffic.
The major traffic chaos prevailing near by to the Thane station has been increasing rapidly wherein the concerned authorities have lost hope of neither controlling the traffic nor correcting the potholes in the city. Srikant Paropkari, DCP of traffic department reported over this issue saying that the diversion of the routes are for the temporary purpose since the potholes in the main roads are too huge and dangerous for the commuters and moreover the concerned municipal authorities have already been on work to re-structure the potholes which was left unaccepted.
