A roundup on prices of properties across India
The prices of properties across India is increasing. Mumbai, Chennai, Delhi and other metros in India has set a record for high real estate prices.
However, when compared to a decade old real estate scenario, properties in India have become much affordable today.
According to real estate experts the monthly rentals in Mumbai ranges between 22 to 25 basis points of the property value.
The decrease in number of properties being launched is one of the reason for high property and rental prices in Mumbai.
The analysis of HDFC data say that the average cost of house during year 2002 was Rs 12 lakh and the average amount has raised to Rs 40 lakh in the year 2011.
