AadhaarMumbai- Good news for the residents who have registered for Aadhar card as they don’t need to wait for the cards to be delivered by post. The residents can now go online and download the cards following a simple procedure.

Before going to the enrollment center the citizens can take online appointments and they can even download the card online. To download the card, residents have to visit the websites uidai.gov.in or eaadhaar.uidai.gov.in and enter the enrollment number to obtain the card.

According to UIDAI deputy director general Ajay Bhushan Pandey, while enrolling themselves, citizens should provide their cell numbers. Through their cellphones, they can get updates or change in Aadhaar identity details and can also avail many other facilities. Aadhaar will be attached to various schemes such as scholarships and LPG for cash transfer, he added.

If the citizens are providing false information it will create problem for the residents as the card help can be availed in various facilities like train travel, opening a bank account, LPG connections, mobile and other benefits.
