The Meeting Hours
The Joint Secretary talked about the growth in Odisha projects to V.P.Joy the cabinet Secretariat, in a conference of Project Monitoring Group (PMG) of the (CCI) which was lead by G.C Pati who is the chief secretary of Odisha.
Later after the meeting, Joy conveyed to the reporters that that 25 public and private sector projects have been evaluated and also he told about the remarkable growth in railway and highway projects. He also said that dead lines have been fixed for various projects, in which many projects were affected due to the land acquiring issues. Immediate solutions were also given to the problems that pertain to private sectors.
Discussion about several projects like railways, steel, highways and power went on in the meeting. It was said by an official at chief secretary office that, the center was contented with the development in 25 projects along with the rail connection job for Talcher-Bimlagarh and Angul-Sukinda. Apart from that, discussion went on about significant National Highway projects like Angul-Sambalpur and Panikoeli and Remuli. When Joy was questioned about the Rs 52,000 crore project, which was proposed by South Korean steel major Posco, he said that it was not conversed during the meeting.
