Afghan builders keen on JVs with Indian counterparts: FICCI
Industry body FICCI (Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry) after its interaction with the Afghanistan Builders Association (ABA) which is leading the 35-member Afghan delegation to India, said in a statement that the builders from Afghanistan have shown interest in collaborating and forging joint ventures with Indian companies for carrying out the projects in housing, road construction, schools and hospitals in the war-torn country. In a statement issued after the delegation meeting, FICCI further said that the businessman from Afghanistan “have also shown interest to source all kinds of building materials and building equipments/machinery.”
