Allahabad High Court is against improper land acquisition
The Allahabad High Court has ordered the builders to pay more compensation for landowners in the areas of Noida Extension.
The court ruled out to stop acquisition of lands in the area against a review petition filed by the Greater Noida Authority against the termination of land acquisition in Chaksahberi, Asadullapur and Devla villages.
The court has asked to increase the compensation up to 64.7 percent for the lands where construction is already going on.
After the decision, the farmers of 64 villages, who have so far received compensation of Rs.850 per sq meter, would get an additional Rs.544 per sq meter following the court order.
The master plan for the development of properties in Greater Noida is not been cleared by the National Capital Regional Planning Board (NCRPB), hence the court has asked “not to carry on development and not to implement the Master Plan 2021 till the observations and directions of the National Capital Regional Planning Board (NCRPB) are incorporated in the Master Plan 2021 to its satisfaction.”
The court’s verdict is met with mixed reactions of home buyers and landowners.
