AMC to raise water and conservancy tax
The hike in water and conservancy tax has been proposed by the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) commissioner.
Also, a budget draft of Rs 4,181 crore for the year 2012 to 2013 at the AMC standing committee.
With the hike in these tax services the city civic body expects income of Rs60 crore.
However, even after releasing such a huge amount of money the municipal corporation till date has only concentrated on providing basic amenities instead of planning for major urban projects.
Midst all these irregular work flow, AMC needs to increase tax amount burdening the citizens.
