Apartments decorated for Dussehra Celebrations 2011
Bangalore has a migrant population surviving in the apartments on the outskirts of the city. The apartment communities are decorating their homes on the occasion of Dussehra and the residents have been decorating their houses during all the nine days for Dussehra celebrations. Suman Bailur one of the resident belonging to the apartment community reported saying that they have made the festival celebration lively by arranging garba dance at which all the 150 families in the apartment enjoyed and also feasted over all the nine days.
In Purva Fountain Square an apartment near Marathalli, Bangalore were promoting eco-friendliness as the main theme projected through the depiction of rural life. The Diamond District residents had arranged garba and dandiya celebration wherein nearly 300 residents participated in the celebration with neighbors in the apartment. Also the apartment association invited the professional dancers, reported Raja Nambiar the president of Diamond District Apartment Owners’ Association.
