The CBI had moved the HC after the special CBI trial court in January refused its plea to drop his name. It is still not aware as what would be the further proceedings will be taking place. The trial by CBI would continue for some time against the 12 people.

The Adarsh housing case has been continuing for a long time and the trial and investigation will be following. The previous chief minister of Bombay was also under one of the 12 on whom the trials were continuing. They had requested to drop his name in the trial but the High court had completely refused on the matter stating that the trial process was necessary to be continued on all the convicts.
