Aurangabad Municipal Corporation seems to be slow in matters of identifying properties
A couple of new properties have been identified by the civic body this fiscal year. It was also brought it under the control of tax. Several reliable sources have stated that with the present speed of the property assignment, there will be a huge loss incurred by the Aurangabad Municipal Corporation.
One of the senior officials of the Aurangabad Municipal Corporation have mentioned that the there are a total of 5000 structures which will be coming up every single year. The tax assessment officer named Priyanka Kesarkar has mentioned over 900 projects have been identified recently.
In the year 2014, between the months of April to June, there were over 900 properties proposals. Tax was levied as well. There are a few residential and commercial property proposals included as well. Seeing the current speed, it won’t be surprising to see the civic body get a total of 3000 properties in total by the end of the year.
Some of the sources have also mentioned the number of properties have increased significantly in the last couple of years even though the speed of the assessment isn’t that fast at all.
