The property price in Mumbai is touching the sky and it has become impossible for home buyers to even think of buying a property in Mumbai. However, there is an area called Badlapur where affordable houses are available in the range of Rs 17-30 lakh.The area is witnessing a huge demand because of affordable housing. In the past one year the locality has witnessed a rise in the capital value of apartments at almost 30 percent and the proposed Metro connectivity will provide an added boost. Some of the projects in Badlapur include Nisarg Samruddhi Heights by Dhanalaxmi Developers, Arihant Anmol, Arihant Aksh and Arihant Akriti by Arihant Superstructures Ltd., Samrudhi Evergreens by Poddar Housing, etc.
Poddar Housing offers more options with 1RK (1 room and kitchen), 1, 2 and 3 BHK units. The sizes for these units vary from 274-1040 sq ft. Arihant and Dhanalaxmi offer 1 and 2BHK units with the total built-up area ranging from 635-985 sq ft. The price ranges from Rs 2,600-2,900 per sq ft. Most of these projects are expected to get completed by December 2013.
