Developers launching apartments in Bangalore are trying to differentiate their residential projects. While most of them resort to differentiating on the basis of designs, layout, theme, furnishing and different finishing for floor, walls, roof etc., some are now trying to innovate on the basis of social distinctions.
Some developers are providing newly affluent home buyers on social skills and graces that are required for living in high-end residential projects.
The concept of twin apartments is being introduced in Doublement, located in Yemlur, off old Airport Road. The residential project consists of 178 twin apartments ranging in sizes from 2,500 sqft to 4,750 sqft, and comes at a starting price of Rs 1.8 crore.
In this project, a buyer buys the twin apartments as one unit and not as separate units. In each twin apartment, both units are independent of each other and can run as individual homes, which has been done keeping in mind the different needs of joint families with children.
Brigade Orchards, in Devanahalli, is a residential township being developed by Brigade Group, which spreads over 120 acres and will boast of close to 3,000 residential units catering to various socio-economic groups.
The project has range of structures – from villas to high-end apartments and value homes. The project will even comprise of units sized between 150 sq ft and 250 sq ft to appeal to the economically weaker sections (EWS) of society, who would be taking up jobs as helping hands,gardeners,etc once the project comes up.
