Bangalore Municipality will find out illegal apartments

The Bangalore Development Authority (BDA) ordered to check the No objection certificate for the apartments during registration of properties in Bangalore.

It is reported that there are thousands of apartments and sites are being constructed in unauthorized layouts.

However the department of stamps and registration replied that, according to the registration rules of the state of Karnataka, the sub-registrar has no authority to refuse registration on the ground of the non approval of the area by the town planning authority.

However, the authority of assigning the Property Identification Number (PIN) are issuing PIN for all the properties irrespective of the authorization.
