Bangalore water woes still continues
Surprising! Bangalore, the garden city is facing the shortage of water supply by almost four thousand million cubic meter. This clearly exposes 22 lakh people to face water scarcity every year.
The geologists say that Bangalore has tough civic situations to face, since the pressure on ground water is increasing with the expansion of city. They have forewarned the shortage of water supply for an additional 24 lakh due to over-exploitation. This water data was collected by the Karnataka government’s mines and geology department from 10 deep wells in Bangalore.
These fresh government’s data clearly says that Bangaloreans seems not to be free from water woes now!
