BBMP council meeting on rocks over a road!
There has been a need for a road connecting Bengaluru International Airport Road with the Yelahanka Lake via Kendriya Vihar in Bangalore.
However, the construction of the road is yet to see the light of the day.
The question on the construction of the same road was asked in the recent BBMP council meeting with no answers at the civic body’s end.
This came to limelight that BBMP is favouring a private builder for construction of a seven star hotel at the location inspite of getting Rs 250 lakh budget from the Standing Committees of Taxation and Finance.
There were other issues which caught attention like overflowing Mavalli land fill and heaps of uncleared garbage at Mandur land fill.
