BBMP encroachment drive in Malleswaram market

After the recent encroachment drive in Malleswaram 13th Cross market, vendors have been going through lot of loss.
BBMP on Sunday had removed the vegetable and flower vendors from road side in an anti-encroachment drive.
The vendors have incurred heavy loss and their vegetables and valuables were taken.
The vegetables were given back to some and they were allowed to sit back after the vendors paid a fine.
BBMP has future plans of laying a shopping and parking complex in the neighbourhood by removing the vendors from the site.
