BESCOM customers can now register complaints from Mobile
BESCOM customers will be able to send SMS to 53030 mentioning BESCOM in the message to register their complaints from June 1st 2012.
Recently BESCOM also launched 25 line helpline in order to address the complaints and will have the capacity to process over 1 lakh complaints.
According to BESCOM Official this facility will reduce the reaction time to complaints as well as it will be convenient for the users to SMS their complaints instead of spending time on call.
With this move the residents of apartments and houses in Bangalore will be benefited as it will solve their power concerns at the earliest.
Apart from this BESCOM will also be setting up seven control rooms which will be manned round-the-clock 21 persons in order to monitor complaints coming in by SMS.
The officials of BESCOM said that the customers have to type BESCOM in the message as well as they should include the RR number for easy access to the details.
