BJP starts preparation for fresh elections

No Comments Sub Category:Realty News Posted On: Aug 21, 2014

As uncertainty looms large in Delhi’s political scenario, BJP has started preparations for a fresh election. Announcing its ‘Better Delhi’ campaign on Tuesday, Delhi BJP spelled out its agenda for the capital with regularization of unauthorized colonies topping the list.

In a meeting with Union UD minister Venkaiah Naidu, Delhi BJP chief Satish Upadhyay stressed on the need to regularize unauthorized colonies in a time-bound manner. Upadhyay, who was accompanied by all seven MPs and three mayors, also requested Naidu to revise the cut-off date for regularization from 2007 to 2014. Sources say if approved, this will benefit lakhs of people living in 1,639 colonies.

The work of for a fresh election might take some time. However it is still not announced that how much beneficiary this fresh election will be to the government. Some of the good factors that may come up are that the ministers might take the work seriously and finish some work in the time frame. The central government is practical in working within the timelines specially the works they have announced during the union budget. Probably the end of this year would see some work been accomplished.
