Book a flat, get a gold coin free

No Comments Sub Category:Cities,Realty News,Residential Real Estate,Uncategorized Posted On: Apr 22, 2013

gold coin offerFollowing the recent fall in gold prices, many real estate brokers or agents are attracting customers by offering 10 gm gold coin and other freebies related to gold on every booking. Many tempting messages are hitting inbox of users every day.

The decline in gold price after such a long time has provoked agents to offer gold deals with booking of a flat. From April 20, 2013, the gold prices have reduced by 14.3 percent to Rs 26,260 per 10 gm from Rs 30,645 per 10 gm on January 1, 2013.

This offer would generate interest and enquiries among people but will not result in actual transactions, say experts. It is because property buying is a long-term decision and customers will not take any decision on the basis of this offer.

Some realtors feel that gold freebies are just another marketing strategy to attract customers. Property buying decisions would not be affected by drop in gold prices. It is a short term strategy which will advance the purchase decisions of only those people who have already decided to buy property.

Offering gold and other freebies is the latest trend in real estate market. Earlier, developers followed the trend of offering discounts.

Many developers are offering customer friendly services to their customers. For example, CHD Developers is planning to offer medical service in its upcoming residential projects in Gurgaon. In this regard, the developer is having a word with hospital chains including Medanta and Max.

Wave Developers is also setting series of customer friendly services for its recently announced affordable housing project Wave City in Ghaziabad. The company has tied up with global IT major IBM for making the project a ‘smart city’.

Some experts opine that the real estate sector in India has gained momentum after a slowdown over the past few years. The market is likely to record a growth of 20-25 percent this year. Many developers have realised that if projects are launched at lucrative prices, only then it would be successful.
