Boost in industrial infrastructure in Tamil Nadu

The Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, J Jayalalithaa has announced the plans for a number of industrial infrastructure investments which include an electronics components cluster and a National Investment and Manufacturing Zone that will help in boosting the investments in the southern districts region. The industrial belt will be set up as fast possible after the start up stage.

The biotechnology park will also be constructed in Coimbatore in order to attract investments in the sector. The Chief Minister has stated that Rs 6,525 crore National Investment and Manufacturing Zone will be made by the Tamil Nadu Industrial Development Corporation (Tidco) in the district of Ramanathapuram. The Manufacturing Zone will help in boosting the development works in Tamil Nadu.

A detailed report on the project will be submitted to the centre for approval on the steps taken to start the work on the project as fast as possible. The detailed report on the project will contain the basic necessities apart from the permissions that are needed to be taken to build the project. These manufacturing units will help in the revenue growth in the southern districts region of Tamil Nadu.
