Brokers control the property cost in Kerala
It is noticed that over the time a network of middlemen controlled the price of land in Kerala. The so called land mafias do not allow the interaction between genuine buyers and sellers of land.
It is also recorded that at least 10 lakh unoccupied houses and flats are available in Kerala.
The middle men control the land transactions and common men often buy properties which had informally changed hands several times, at increased prices.
the cost of lands in villages also raised so much that investing in real estate in Kerala for agriculture or industry was no more profitable.
