Builder and Real Estate agents under Police Custody in Pune
The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) of Pune, investigating on the twenty nine Urban Land Ceiling (ULC) certificate scam cases as per the direction of the Bombay high court has arrested real estate agent Sujay Chopade, builder Sharad Kokate and conspirator Atul Panse. The trio were allegedly involved in unscrupulous land deals. Investigations done by the CID have revealed that Kokate had obtained power of attorney from Mahadeo Mansingh Tupe long before in the year September 2004.
This case was booked for developing the land and for obtaining the ULC order. Kokate had paid Rs 2.7 lakh to his employee and real estate agent Giramkar and allegedly obtained a back dated a fake ULC order through agents, Atul Panse, Sanjay Shinde and Sujay Chopade for getting benefits from the land.
