Builder Fined for Poor Quality Construction in Pune
The Khadki Cantonment Board (KCB) has said that proper construction materials were not used in the construction of their Khadki bazar staff apartments in Pune.
During an inspection by the KCB officials it is found that there were major irregularities in the second phase of construction in the cantonment area. The builder has violated the construction agreement by using bricks in place of concrete blocks or fly ash.
Based on the report provided by the inspector, the KCB has made the private contractor to pay Rs 3 lakh fine for the violations.
The second phase of the construction is still going on and the builder has been asked to complete the work as soon as possible.
