Ambience Island Lagun ApartmentDistrict forest department in Gurgaon has issued a notice to the real estate builder Ambience group to vacate the forest land in Nathupur.

The Ambience group has constructed Ambience Island Lagun Apartment on the protect land for forest in the area.

In the notice it is ordered to remove all the structures constructed on the forest land along with all the malba or debris within 60 days.

Almost 6000 sq m protected area has been used for construction of the apartment and other structures. Earlier, the forest department had issued notice to the builder in 2008 to discontinue the “illegal” construction.

The forest department issued the notice to remove the construction as it is illegal to construct any property on any reserved land by the Forest Act.

However the builder has said that they have not received any such notice. They also add that a stay order was there from the environment court. And they also said that they have proper license from the concern department for that property construction.
