Builders are struggling by rising cost of Cement

No Comments Sub Category:Delhi-NCR,Realty News Posted On: Apr 23, 2012

The real estate developers made a charge of cartelisation among cement companies to the Competition Commission of India (CCI).

According to the builders agencies, the cement makers have increased the prices by 50 percent in the past six months and by 20 per cent after the Union Budget.

Before six months the cost of a 50 kg cement bag was Rs 170 and it was increased up to Rs 250 just before the budget and after the budget the cost of one bag cement became Rs 300.

The cement manufacturers are saying that the cost of cement has been increased by the rise in the excise duty as well as by the demand supply trend.

The builders also claimed that the cement manufactures are creating artificial crisis in the market after reducing the supply.
