CAG will analyze Ashirwad Society
After the report prepared on Adarsh tower, Comptroller and Auditor general (CAG) planned to investigate the the case of Ashirwad Society in Andheri.
The Adarsh tower report will be tabled in the assembly soon. The other case of Ashirwad Society will reveals irregularities in land allotments among the members.
According to CAG, the society has constructed the apartments in Andheri with a stilt and 21 upper floors.
While the society has 44 members approved by the government, and comprised of government and non-government members including legislators and ministers, whose names are not revealed in the report.
The government norms says that members are entitled to flats in the range of 27.87 to 60.40 sqm based on their income. But all the flats were built of equal size of 99.67 sqm.
