CCI rejects complaint against Dwarkadhis Projects
A complaint alleging the real estate developer Dwarkadhis Projects abused its dominant position has been rejected by the Competition Commission of India (CCI).
While dismissing the complaint, the regulator stated that there was no evidence to suggest abuse of dominance by Delhi-based developer.
The informant had purchased a dwelling unit in one of the housing project in Haryana’s Rewari district.
No only delaying the handing over of the unit, the complainant alleged that the entity sent a demand letter asking payment of Rs 3,29,012 for carrying out improvement work.
The complainant pleaded that the buyer’s agreement and demand for charges be declared illegal apart from slapping penalty for delay in handing over the building.
